Sticks – [Bernard Jabs]

Georgia native Bernard Jabs is one of Lyrical Lemonade’s favorite up-and-coming talents right now, and for good reason, as his inimitably consistent quality and output both act as testaments the buddings of a blossoming star. Today, the Def Jam signee is back on our pages to detail the idea of looks being deceiving with his latest single, “Sticks”. Backed by an uplifting, melodic instrumental, this fluttering track allows Jabs to lighten up his sound and truly just dance all over the energetic production. He lets loose an abundance of playful flows and fun-loving cadences, marking “Sticks” as a remarkably entertaining release for fans to enjoy, again and again. I’m about to keep this song in heavy rotation all weekend long, and I recommend the same for all of our readers out there. Bernard Jabs refuses to miss, with “Sticks” as his latest, easily-lovable proof. You can stream the song below:

Honeydew – [Smba]

Every now and then, I stumble upon a gem that I wish I would’ve found earlier. Today, that gem arrives in the form of local Chicago artist, Smba. There’s no question that the Midwest music scene has been spreading like wildfire as of late, and after hearing his latest song “Honeydew”, Smba will definitely be able to add some fuel to that fire, paving his own name in the city’s budding music scene! At only 16 years old, Tyrone Jordan has the ambition to take him as far as he’d like to go in this industry. He’s already created a clothing line and his very own record label — that is, with the music to back it all up, just as well. “Honeydew” is a track that you’ll want to bump over and over again, and if not anything else, it provides listeners with a detailed look at what it’s like trying to navigate high school and relationships; something we’ve all had to deal with at one time or another. The catchy melody and strong production make this track one that I think a lot of people will enjoy, so I recommend trying this one out at the Spotify link …
