Motivational Nothings 19′ – [Gud]

As an artist, it’s important to formulate a clear message with your music so as to most impactfully reach listeners, and with his latest offering, “Motivational Nothings ’19”, Sweden native Gud is ready to exemplify just this. Not only does he wear his heart on his sleeve, but Gud also knows exactly how to translate this open emotion into music that a myriad of fans can enjoy. Further so, he displays his skills with brevity, using just under a minute to bring forth a blast of emotion with this one, lyric by lyric. If not anything else, “Motivational Nothings ’19” is a cherry on top for Gud’s already deeply impressive catalog, as it proves that he has even more up his sleeve for fans to feast on in the coming months. That said, I could continue talking about my excitement around this one, but I’ll just let the music speak for itself. Listen to Gud’s latest at the link below and let us know what you think in the comments!

Premiere: Did It Again – [Lil Tecca] + Q&A

Today we are more than excited to introduce you to 16-year-old rapper Lil Tecca as he drops off his new single, “Did It Again.” The New York based artist teams up with Nick Mira and Taz Taylor on this one who lay down the perfect production for Tecca to ride over. Tecca has been quickly making a name for himself over the past few months as he continues to impress us with every single release. It’s clear that the young artist is someone to keep an eye out on in 2019 as he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. We were lucky enough to ask Lil Tecca a few questions. Check out the Q&A and his new song below! JM: Before diving into question tell our readers who you are. LT: Wasgud. I’m Lil Tecca, 16 year old rapper from Queens, New York. – JM: How did you get the name Lil Tecca? Check Out Maxo Kream’s ‘Trending Topics’ Segment On Pigeons & Planes

Just days after letting loose his highly-anticipated Punken mixtape, Maxo Kream stopped by the Pigeon & Planes office to take part in their latest ‘Trending Topics’ episode. Bringing a bunch of older, legendary tweets to the surface, the Houston rapper went in-depth on a handful of posts including the hold-up on his tape due to GTA 5, his illustrious come-up and even a flashback of an old photo taken with Joey Bada$$ & Da$h. It has become a popular interview-segment across the web to bring back old tweets or photos that are in need of an explanation, and if you ask me, there are very few doing it better than P&P. Be sure to check out Maxo Kream’s ‘Trending Topics’ episode and stream the Punken mixtape here if you haven’t already.

Dedication 6: Reloaded – [Lil Wayne]

Over a decade has passed since Weezy dropped the very-first Dedication project back in 2005, and after releasing Dedication 6 this past Christmas, the 35-year-old wasn’t finished as D6: Reloaded has just found its way onto our platform. Released exclusively on DatPiff, the DJ Drama-hosted tape comes fully-loaded with 20 tracks with an all-star cast of features including Drake, Rich The Kid, Lil Twist & a handful of classic collaborations like Gudda Gudda and Juelz Santana who appears on the finale titled Bloody Mary. There’s no debating that Wayne is one of a small number of active-legends in the hip-hop scene, and while some may anticipate a dip in the quality of Tunechi’s raps, it is quite the opposite as each record was just as impressive as the last. Let’s hope plans are still alive-and-well for a future Carter V release, but until that time comes, lose yourself in Lil Wayne’s Dedication 6: Reloaded mixtape right here.

Full Court Press – [Lonny X]

Connecticut may not be the first state that comes to mind when you think of budding music scenes, but tucked within this unlikely state is one of my personal favorite upcoming rappers and a name that you might just be hearing everywhere soon: Lonny X. Becoming somewhat of a frequent flyer on our pages at this point, Lonny X is making a name for himself with nothing but determination, heart, and incredible music to back it up. Today, after 4 years of toying with the project to make each and every aspect perfect, Lonny X is finally here to present his highly-anticipated and long-awaited debut album, Full Court Press. Throughout the 11 hard-hitting tracks, this rising talent is able to paint a vivid image of the dedicated mindset that he brings to both music and life. Lonny knows what his motives are and he knows where he wants to be, and each and every track on this project is step toward his goal with introspective, personal lyricism to pave the way. In my eyes, Full Court Press simply doesn’t have a dull moment, so I highly recommend giving this dope project a listen below. Lonny X might just be up next.

Dedication 6 – [Lil Wayne]

Here to make your Christmas day even better, Lil Wayne just released his newest 15-track mixtape, Dedication 6, adding to the long line of DJ Drama collaborations that have helped to define his legendary career throughout the years. The project includes Wayne’s takes over some of today’s hits including Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA”, Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Life”, and more, delivering a bountiful supply of clever lyricism that never fails to entertain listeners and always shows us why we fell in love with Wayne in the first place – a reminder of sorts in the way that it brings us back to revisit all of the fantastic bars etched in our brains after listening to years of Lil Wayne music. Dedication 6 also includes features from Nicki Minaj, HoodyBaby, and Gudda Gudda, among others, returning back to some of his most well-orchestrated lyrical relationships throughout the years with a clear chemistry that doesn’t seem to skip a beat. With that being said, be sure to give the mixtape a listen below and enjoy a Merry Christmas, courtesy of Lil Wayne.

Red Bottom Sky – [Yung Lean]

The legendary Yung Lean is back yet again with a brand new single for us titled, “Red Bottom Sky.” Leandoer teams up with Gud on this track who lays down the perfect melodic beat for Lean to ride out. Lean gives us some very laid back vocals and this beautifully put together track. A few days prior to the release of this track Lean also released some new Sadboys merch. Be sure to check out the hot new single below and be on the lookout for more releases by the Swedish star!

Loyalty – [Lil Wayne] ft. [Gudda Gudda] & [HoodBaby]

Tunechi is back, and with good company as Gudda Gudda and HoodBaby tag in for the official video for “Loyalty.” After years of having the rap game on lock, Wayne took a slight step back and gave the rap game a chance to catch up but rest assured, the wait is over and he’s picking up right where he left off. Let this serve as a reminder that when Wayne is at his best, nothing comes close. Watch the brand new video below and stay tuned to find out what else Wayne has in store for us this year.

100’s – [Tyga] ft. [Chief Keef] & [AE]

With his latest project “Bitch I’m The Shit 2” right around the corner, Tyga, Chief Keef, and AE have linked up to bring their latest track to life titled “100’s,” and you don’t want to miss it. Shot in the beautiful Los Angeles suburbs, T-Raw and his recruits can be seen pulling up in Lambo’s and Bugatti’s while multiple one-hundred-dollar bills float around the White Trash Tyler-directed cut. In my opinion, this is one the hottest tracks we’ve seen from Tyga as of late, and while his other BITS2 preview with Lil Wayne titled “Act Ghetto” was a banger, you can be sure to expect several more hits when the tape finally drops. With that being said, feast your eyes on the “100’s” video below and let us know if you’re rocking with it in the comments. Directed by: White Trash Tyler

Grateful – [Lil Wayne] ft. [Gudda Gudda]

Anyone that was feeling sour about Lil Wayne supposedly announcing his retirement can feel a little better after the rock-star out of New Orleans released a new track with former Squad Up member Gudda Gudda titled “Grateful.” With production from Rugah Rah and StreetRunner, this hard-hitting track marks the final good-bye to Cash Money Records indicating that Weezy is starting fresh after complications with Cash Money that ended his time with the record label. The new track is a signature-Wayne song with a wavy combination of auto-tune and heavy bass that helps convey the message that he is finished with Cash Money and starting a new life without CM co-founder Birdman amongst others. Check out the new track from Lil Wayne and Gudda Gudda below and lets hope we can expect more from Tuneche in the near future. [audiomack src=”http://www.audiomack.com/song/user1234-1/grateful”]
