While Chicago has been known as a reputable city in hip-hop for numerous years now, this revered position has not arrived without the constant innovation and hard work of the artists that so faithfully represent the prowess of their home city. It is these artists that we have to credit for this respected reputation, and we here at Lyrical Lemonade try to honor this in every way possible by constantly bringing new Chicago acts into our headlines here on our website. That said, 2018 has been yet another fantastic year for Chicago music, so we went ahead and compiled a list of our “Top 50 Chicago Projects” of the year. This now marks the third year that we have been putting out this list, and we believe that it’s safe to say this year’s list might just be the most solid one from top to bottom that we’ve seen yet. Thank you to our terrific writing staff for all of the hard work they have put in this year, I will be linking their socials below so be sure to contact them about getting featured on the website in the future. Bottles – [Brian Fresco]

Samemoney affiliate, Brian Fresco returns to our pages today with a ne music video for his track, “Bottles.” This track comes from an album he released earlier this year titled, ‘Love Scars.’ This is a fun video that finds Fresco Poolside and on the tennis courts. He’s got beautiful women around him in damn near the entire video and as the video suggests, you’ll see him with a bottle of Henny at all times too. Below we have, ‘Love Scars’ for you to listen too, but make sure you watch,  the visuals for, “Bottles” first!     Directed by: Zachary Harris

Love Scars – [Brian Fresco]

Savemoney is thriving in 2018 and it just got even better for the Chicago super group, as front runner Brian Fresco is making his way back on our platform tonightwith this brand new project titled “Love Scars“. There is a total of fifteen records on this project (if you count the bonus tracks), and after the first listen through I must admit that he surpassed my already high expectations, leaving me in awe once the outro ended. Fresco was certainly the shining factor throughout this whole tape, but man the features on this one were sensational, coming from the likes of MC Juice, Vic Mensa, Chance The Rapper, Kay Karma, John Blu, Twista, Avery Storm, Rockie Fresh, Anne One, Bj The Chicago Kid, Blue Hawaii Bjrknc and last but not least, KAMI. Another huge factor of how well this tape played out was in large part thanks to the producers Thelonious Martin, Trevor $, Snapback, Swim Team, DJ Kenn, Boogz, Ludlow, Akoni and Rich Gains paving the way. I really enjoyed this tape and I believe that you will too, stream it below!

Savemoney’s own Brill has been featured on our pages quite a few times in the past, and he recently had his first headlining show in Chicago, and today we got blessed with the recap from the show. There are plenty of familiar faces you will see in this one including Caleb James, Loren and Brian Fresco, but Brill stole the show. Timing Is Everything – [Brill]

Chicago native and Savemoney’s own Brill has been featured on our pages a few times now, but today he is back with his biggest drop to date with his brand new project titled “Timing Is Everything”. There is a total of fourteen tracks on this one, where you will find Brill putting together some of the best songs you have heard this month. All of the production on this album is fantastic, so shout out to Untamedbst, Naj B, Davi$ Dope, The 25th Hour, Olos, Toonz and we even received a dope beat from Smino! Brill excelled on more of the club type beats, proving that he can become a star in the near future with his ability to create a radio hit seemingly without trying. The features on tape come from the likes of Caleb James, Loren, Brian Fresco, TLNTD, Sterling Hayes and Dally Auston, who complimented Brill perfectly in help make the listening experience that much better. Miracle – [Brian Fresco]

After having an unstoppable 2016, Brian Fresco carries his grand momentum into the new year with a new heater titled “Miracle.” Fresco absolutely bodied this this track – unloading a vicious array of bars over the mellifluous tune from start to finish. No seriously, he went off. If you had any doubts about his rise to stardom happening, it’s time to erase them. And we have to give thanks to Mano for laying down the miraculous production to compliment Fresco’s masterful delivery. Forget up next, he’s up now. Listen to “Miracle” below and stay tuned for the next full length project from the Savemoney superstar. Prod. by: Mano

Call – [Brian Fresco]

Today Chicago MC Brian Fresco blesses our eyes and ears with an alluring new visual for his song “Call” directed by Peter Collins Cambell. For a while now, Fresco has been poised to emerge as Savemoney’s next superstar and lately he’s been making huge strides towards doing so. In this video, Fresco steps right into his Casanova bag as he kicks back with a couple of divine beauties in high fashion like a real boss. The switch up on his flow midway through the song is what really sheds light on Fresco’s ability to paint the picture clear for us no matter what style of delivery he chooses. There’s no doubt about it, this guy can spit. Check out the official video for “Call” below. It’s Savemoney season.
