In my opinion, one of the most exciting elements of the internet is that of connectivity. Every time I hop on my SoundCloud feed, I become exposed to artists, sounds, and styles from all over the globe, and quite honestly, it always feels just that much cooler to find a great artist from somewhere outside of the United States as opposed to an artist from somewhere close to home. With this, you can only imagine my excitement when I heard the latest song from Irish artist Gaff, “IDONTEVENPLAYGUITAR.”

Aside from the fact that Gaff hails all the way from Ireland, I’ve quickly fall in love with this song mainly due to its seamless capturing of the sun-soaked energy of the summer. Giff performs an infectious set of lyrical acrobatics while floating right above the production, and working further into the self-assured glory of the lyrics, he truly seems to be having fun on the song — an easily-identifiable and quite lovable trait to hear from a listener’s perspective.

Needless to say, with a set of irresistible guitar riffs as its foundation, “IDONTEVENPLAYGUITAR” is a perfect soundtrack to the warmer months and later nights that arrive with the summer, so don’t sleep on this song. Stream “IDONTEVENPLAYGUITAR” below and let us know what you think in the comments!
