Ambassel – [J.I.D]

Sports and music have always gone hand in hand, and that’s nothing new for fans of either form of media. However, it seems like the culture has been incorporated much more in the past handful of years than ever before, and the crossover between these things is so much fun to watch unfold. Whether you’re playing 2k with your friends and getting to select exactly what Jordans your player wears, watching a game live and hearing your favorite song playing at the stadium, or any other scenario, you can always expect to see these two different worlds collide, and the results are always so entertaining to see come to life.

As far as soundtracks in sports video games go, it’s become pretty apparent that Madden wants to take the crown for the best lineup of music, incorporating some of the hottest artists out like MoneyBagg Yo, 42 Dugg, Tierra Whack, Swae Lee, and so many others, and after even just looking at the lineup they recruited for this year’s edition of the game, you already know that they can take the crown.

What I love even more is when they go above and beyond and put out additional content to support the soundtrack, so when I saw that J.I.D decided to create a visual for his cut off of the playlist entitled “Ambassel”, I couldn’t have been more excited. In this one, J.I.D takes us to the Atlanta Falcons stadium where he dons his own customized jersey as he makes his way around the empty stadium as quick, run-and-gun stylized shots show him taking his own personal tour.

If you’re familiar with the ATLien, you know that he proudly reps his city every single chance he gets, so while this visual might not be the most intricate when compared to his other offerings, it’s definitely cool to see him in his element and supporting his team, even if they’re not off to the hottest start this year in particular. I highly encourage you to take a listen to the Madden 22 soundtrack whenever you can because it’s full of hits, but either way, you definitely need to make it a priority to check out J.I.D’s music video for his record “Ambassel” as well.
